Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.   Many of us know this parable in Luke, how Jesus upends the expectations of his listeners, teaching a lesson about humility, faith, and judgment.  But, perhaps we can also look at this story differently and broaden our understanding with a fresh perspective.
